HotelBooking — Agency Accounting System
Full-stack hotel booking and double-entry accounting system built for travel agencies
The Challenge
Travel agencies had to use 3-4 different software applications to manage hotel bookings, invoices, supplier bills, accounting, and client communication. There was no single system to manage bookings, payments, accounting, and financial reports together.
Our Solution
Developed a web platform using Django REST and React 19 that combines hotel booking management, double-entry accounting, invoice and supplier bill management, Stripe payments, WhatsApp and email communication, availability calendars, financial reporting, user roles, and automated background tasks. The system also securely stores sensitive settings using encryption and performs scheduled backups.
The Outcome
Created a single platform that replaces multiple tools used by travel agencies. The system provides accurate accounting with a chart of accounts, automated payment reminders and backups, complete financial reports, secure API key storage, and a demo dataset containing hotels, room types, invoices, and accounting transactions.
